The history of Armenian Genocide will be included in the Michigan public schools program, Asbarez wrote on its Facebook page.
The corresponding bill was passed by the House of Representatives on February 24 (the lower house of parliament).
The Bill to teach the history of Armenian Genocide at schools also passed unanimously in the Senate of California in August, 2014. Thus, the audio testimonies of Genocide survivors and witnesses will be included in the state's public school curriculum and will be included in the course on human rights.
