The South Korean Parliament Set World Record of Discussion of the Law
The opposition in the parliament of South Korea set a world record for the discussion of the bill, the speeches lasting for 192 hours, BBC reports.
Representatives of the Democratic Party Toburo deliberately delaying the adoption of counter-terrorism law, which, in their view, limits the personal freedom of citizens and authorizes intelligence services to violate the privacy of correspondence, spoke for a few hours each.
Some of them, not knowing what to say, were singing, and one member even read chapters from George Orwell's novel "1984".
