Devastating Earthquake in Ecuador has Killed At Least 413 People
The victims of the incident in Saturday's devastating earthquake in Ecuador became at least 413 people, more than 2 thousand were injured, the authorities inform.
President Rafael Correa has called the disaster the worst tragedy in the last 70 years, BBC reports.
Ecuador deployed 10,000 soldiers and 4,600 police officers to the affected areas. Troops set up mobile hospitals and temporary shelters. The military also brought in search dogs to help find survivors and bodies, CNN writes.
