Russia Ready to Join Efforts with US against Global Threats
Moscow is ready to cooperate with Washington in the fight against terrorism and other global threats, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said in an interview with RT, Sputnik News reports.
According to him, both Russia and the United States are permanent members of the UN Security Council; therefore, according to UN Charter they bear special responsibility for international peace and security.
"It is now upon Washington to decide how far it is ready to move on," Antonov said.
