World-known actor director George Clooney, who is in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan these days, has just visited Sergei Parajanov Museum. 54-year-old actor admired Armenian film director’s art works (installations, collages, assemblages, drawings, dolls, and hats).
Sergei Parajanov is one of the greatest figures of 20th-century world cinema. His visionary films, such as “The Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors,” “Sayat-Nova,” and “The Legend of Suram Fortress,” earned him international acclaim and led to lifelong persecution by the Soviet regime.
