This Week in Europe

Below we would like to draw your attention to the upcoming events in Europe that directly concern or present a particular interest for Armenia. Special attention is paid to international organizations and the scheduled meetings and events in the framework of their activities.

 In celebration of World Press Freedom Day, the second edition of Difference Day will be held in Brussels on May 3, 2016.

 The Conference of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Visegrad Group (V4) and Eastern partnership countries will take place in Prague, the Czech Republic on May 3-4.

On May 6 the International Charlemagne Prize award ceremony will take place.  The prize will be given to  Pope Francis. The prize is established for the most valuable contribution in the services of Western European understanding and work for the community, and in the services of humanity and world peace.
