Bavarian Parliament held a hearing on including the book of Adolf Hitler "Mein Kampf" in the school program, RIA Novosti reports.
During the hearing, the deputies discussed whether to include Mein Kampf with annotations of modern historians in the school program, and if so, how teachers should talk about it.
The supporters of this idea consider the book as an important part of the historical process, emphasizing the need to "immunize" the youth to the ideas of National Socialism.
Mein Kampf, copyrights on which for 70 years belonged to the federal state of Bavaria, was banned for publishing and selling. In January 2016 an annotated book reappeared in bookstores and immediately became a bestseller.
