Syrian film director George Massouh told that he would like to make a film about Russian officer Alexander Prokhorenko, who died the death of a hero in Syria this spring. He declared the intention while talking to the media in Orenburg Region, where the ceremony of remembrance for the officer, posthumously awarded the Hero of Russia title, has come to an end.
"I’ve traveled thousands of kilometers to pay the last respects to the hero. Alexander died while defending the Syrian people and helpless children. His death can help stop war. Possibly, I’ll make a film about him," he said, TASS reports.
