UN High Commissioner for Refugees Warns Asylum Seekers have Become a Global Phenomenon
The UN high commissioner for refugees Filippo Grandi has warned that asylum seekers have become a global phenomenon that requires a global response, BBC reports.
According to him more nations should help the "few host countries" shouldering the burden.
Grandi said that now more people are fleeing conflict and hardship than at any other time in recorded history.
