The Turkish side has returned to the European Parliament a report on the progress made by the country in 2015, due to the fact that the MPs urge Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide, reported the Daily Sabah.
With reference to diplomatic sources, the report, which accepted 375 MPs against 133, was returned without being opened because of the call for recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
The Armenian issue has led to Turkey's refusal to accept the report of the European Parliament in the spring of last year. Overall, Turkey has returned six such documents.
