Turkey has apologized to Russia for the downed plane, soon Moscow will take steps to restore the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with ambassadors and permanent representatives in Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
"Yesterday, as you know, a conversation with the president of that country took place. It is also known that Ankara has apologized for the downed Russian bomber. Having this in mind, in the near future we will take measures to restore the bilateral cooperation," Putin said.
