Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to visit Russia on August 9, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek said on Tuesday. It will mark the first time since the jet-downing crisis between the two countries, Daily Sabah reports.
Simsek, who is attending a series of high-level ministreal meetings in Moscow, said that Erdogan will meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg.
