The extremist group "Islamic State" shared an audio file, in which, according to Islamists, recorded speech of their leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, BBC writes.
On the record the man who Islamists present as al-Baghdadi, made threats against Turkey, and urged his supporters to protect Mosul, claiming that the IS forces will not leave the city, and that he was confident of victory.
The duration of the speech is about half an hour. The authenticity of the recording has not been confirmed.
This is the first appeal of al-Baghdadi a little less than during a year. Due to his long silence it has been suggested that the leader of IS was killed, but grouping does not want to report it.
