The UN announced that the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, and the Turkish Cypriot leader, Mustafa Akinci, failed to agree on the territorial delineation of a future federation, New Europe reports.
The two leaders have returned to Cyprus to plan the way forward. Officials attending the meetings did not make any statement about the substance of the negotiations.
