The American authorities for the first time in the past 25 years have not sent an official congratulation to Moscow on Russia Day. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian embassy in the US Nikolai Lakhonin, Newsru.com reports.
Later the State Department explained that at Trampe it was decided to transfer congratulations to national holidays in a different way. A new approach has been adopted under the new administration, in which the official congratulations are sent through the US embassies in the respective capitals.
