In August a total solar eclipse, the longest in the world history, will sweep across America, casting millions of people into temporary darkness, the Washington Post reports.
The eclipse will occur across the continental United States on Aug. 21.
There is no way to chase the shadow around the country — the moon will cross the entire United States in about 90 minutes, faster than the speediest jetliner.
