During the discussions of the state budget of Artsakh Republic (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic), Minister of Finance, Grigori Martirosyan, stated that 400 million AMD of the social expenses will be allocated to settlement projects, a reporter of Public Radio of Armenian from Stepanakert (capital of Artsakh) informs.
To note, the settlement processes in Artsakh have been mainly organized by other projects during the recent years such as the one encouraging families to have many children, settlement of Syrian Armenians.
In separate cases money was allocated to resolve emergent cases of giving a shelter. In the framework of another state project, the population, especially the ones in the settlement villages, was given materials necessary for construction works.
However, the settlement construction projects were not financed from the state budget, but from charitable projects and various foundations. Such a project is currently being implemented in Ishkhanadzor village of Kashatagh region.
