Armenia chess grandmaster Levon Aronian continues to solely lead the final stage of the FIDE Grand Prix 2017 series taking place in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Panorama.am reports.
According to the National Olympic Committee, the Armenian chess star drew his game against Richard Rapport of Hungary in the seventh round.
With only two rounds left, Aronian has got 4.5 points, half a point in front of eight chess players at once.
The leader will face Evgeny Tomashevsky of Russia in the eighth round of the tournament.
