The former president of the United States Barack Obama is going to go on a five-day trip to China, India and France. Obama plans to hold a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his five-day trip, Life.ru reports, citing CNN.
"Obama, as president, has built close cooperation with Xi Jinping on a range of issues from developing the global economy to countering the climate change on the planet," said Obama's official spokeswoman Cathy Hill.
As noted, the 44th US President will give a speech at the forum, which is dedicated to combating climate change on Earth.
