NASA published a photo of a unique "explosive" galaxy, made with the help of the Hubble orbital telescope, RIA Novosti reported.
The spiral-shaped galaxy ESO 580-49 is in the constellation of weights, about 190 million light-years from Earth. In this case, experts emphasize that although it looks quite "calm", there was a powerful explosion inside it, the consequences of which are imprinted on the frame.
NASA noted that large-scale energy releases are rare and last from a few seconds to an hour, but the radiance persists for a long time.
