Russian LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky, whose candidacy for the presidency of the Russian Federation is being discussed today during the party meeting, suggested the former republics of the Soviet Union to voluntarily return to the composition of Russia, MK.ru reports.
"Russia is one and only and indivisible, and in the Russian Federation we will be happy to wait for some territories of the former USSR to return voluntarily and to choose the form of interaction with Moscow," Zhirinovsky said.
At the same time Zhirinovsky promised that the territories returned to Russia could gain broad autonomy.
