The presidential elections in Armenia are likely to be held on March 2, and discussions of candidates will begin soon during the meeting of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Executive Body, Vahram Baghdasaryan, the head of the RPA parliamentary faction told journalists today.
"The candidate must have authority, influence in the diaspora and be non-partisan. We must comply with these criteria. As for the question of whether there are such people or not, yes, there are such people in our country," Baghdasaryan said, Aysor.am reports. However, he did not give names.
