At the annual banquet of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF) President of France Emmanuel Macron touched upon a number of issues of concern to the Armenian community, including the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide and the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, News.am reports.
According to Macron, as a co-chair country of the OSCE Minsk Group, France will continue listening to all parties to the Karabakh conflict.
CCAF co-chairs Ara Toranian and Murad Papazian invited the French President to visit Karabakh, to which Macron responded: "As for Karabakh, France is a supportive of a compromise, since the status quo is not a solution to the problem. I hope that one day I will return to you and say that the Karabakh conflict is settled."
