After seven years of ravaging war in Syria, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri told Euronews in an exclusive interview that he would be dealing more with Russia rather than the Syrian regime.
Euronews’ correspondent Anelise Borges spoke with Hariri about what it’s like to be surrounded by war, his relationship with Russia and Hezbollah, and the challenges he’s facing in Lebanon.
"I have a very good relationship with Russia and I have a good relationship with Putin that I respect very much. And I believe he is somebody we can work with. I would rather deal with President Putin, then with Assad.", replied Hariri to the question on his relationship with Russia.
