The gates to the garden of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia have been opened Wednesday, and by the instruction of the head of the State Protection Service (SPS).
Sahak Sahakyan, the SPS NA division commander, told about the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
When asked how they will ensure the safety of the MPs from now on, Sahakyan responded as follows, in particular: “We are able to ensure the safety of not solely MPs, but also of the NA staff, guests.”
The SPS NA division commander added that the gates to the parliament’s garden will remain open unless they receive an instruction to shut them.
Earlier, the gardens of the Prime Minister’s and the President’s offices also were opened before the public.
