Armenia will have 12 ministries instead of the current 18 in the wake of the cabinet restructuring program proposed in the pre-election period.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posted a status on his Facebook page to inform that the government downsizing plan has been finally agreed upon.
“We will have 12 ministries in Armenia. The Staff of the Prime Minister will launch the special position of a high commissioner for Diaspora affairs, who will be the Prime Minister’s representative in the relations with the Diaspora and coordinate the work with the Diaspora communities on behalf of the Prime Minister,” reads his post.
