Such weaponry will be purchased with the new $100mn loan from Russia that will enable the Armenian Armed Forces to successfully carry out their tasks, Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan said on the air of Public Television of Armenia, News.am reports.
"So that such an armament is acquired and it complements the existing, which will enable us to be able successfully carry out our tasks by not entering the quantitative competition, by not entering the arms race," he said.
Tonoyan, however, did not specify when asked what kind of armaments this was about.
"It’s a secret for now," he responded.
