The results of the meeting between the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Vienna on the Karabakh settlement give hope for progress, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini told reporters on Thursday.
Her remarks came after the EU Association Council - Azerbaijan meeting in Brussels.
The meeting, together with the Paris Agreement in January, high-level contacts, a significant reduction in cease-fire violations, gives us some hope that the process can move forward and that both countries will implement their commitments and negotiate without preconditions, she noted.
