The Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire on the Artsakh-Azerbaijan border around 140 times in the past week.
In the period from 9 to 15 June, the adversary fired around 1,000 shots towards the Armenian defense positions from firearms of different calibers, Panorama reports, referring to the Artsakh Defense Ministry’s press service.
Apart from firearms, the Azerbaijani troops also employed AGS-17 grenade launchers in the southern direction of the border on 11 June.
The Defense Army’s frontline units took retaliatory measures to suppress the adversary’s attacks, continuing to confidently fulfill their military tasks, the ministry said.
