Amulsar mine may be objectively exploited only in summer months as in winter there is a lot of snow there, ex-governor of Vayots Dzor region Edgar Ghazaryan told today Nikol Pashinyan in Jermuk.
He said the exploitation of the mine means 10-25 blasts daily with each blast raising 25 tons of dust, Aysor reports.
“No matter what expert conclusion they give, it is impossible for such volume of dust not to affect the town. I am not even speaking about transportation of ore and noise. This is not a medieval town but a contemporary one. For it to stay a resort town favorable conditions are necessary. This town has been formed as a resort town,” Ghazaryan said.
