Two protesters were injured while using a water cannon near the Georgian parliament in central Tbilisi, said one of the leaders of the protest movement Shota Dighmelashvil.
One of them has an damaged eye, and the second, a member of the Girchi party, has a fractured arm and facial bone, Sputnik-Georgia reported.
Before using water cannons and starting to oust the protesters, the Ministry of Internal Affairs called on the audience to leave the territory at the entrances to the parliament.
According to unconfirmed reports, 18 protesters were detained by this time, including Akaki Minashvili, a member of the National Movement.
