Russian gas supply to Armenia will temporarily be ensured through the territory of Azerbaijan due to construction works on South Caucasus-Trans Caucasus pipeline, Aysor.am reports.
This was reported by Gasprom Export.
According to it, the relevant short term contract has already been signed between Gasprom Export and State Oil Company of Azerbaijan on March 16.
During this period the gas will be supplied through the territory of Azerbaijan to Georgia’s border.
The construction works may last for about three weeks. Upon completion the gas supply will be ensured by previous route from the border of Russia and Georgia.
