Armenia Legislature to Discuss Election of PM During Special Session to Be Convened on May 10

According to parts 3 and 6 of Article 140 of the Constitutional Law "Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly", the election of the Prime Minister will be discussed during the special session of the National Assembly to be convened by virtue of law on May 10 at 12:00. This is reported on the official website of the National Assembly.

The statement was issued by Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan.

The National Assembly convened another special session today, and according to a political agreement, the National Assembly didn’t elect a Prime Minister. If Prime Minister is not elected on May 10, the National Assembly will be dissolved, after which snap elections will be designated.
