Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin commented on the 3+3 format proposed by Turkey and Iran for the Caucasus with Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia and Georgia.
"As for the 3 + 3 format, I would note that Russia ... should have respected the terms of the 2008 ceasefire agreement before talking about new platforms," Austin said in Tbilisi in response to a journalist's question about whether Georgia's participation in this format will affect its path to NATO, RIA Novosti reports.
