Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with the Constitution as well as the law on the structure and activities of the government, President Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree appointing Hakob Simidyan as Minister of Environment of Armenia.
Prior to this appointment, Simidyan was serving as Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister.
