China and Russia to Promote Democratization of International Relations — Chinese Diplomat

 The Chinese authorities intend to promote the democratization of international relations together with Russia's top leadership, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Wang Wenbin said on Wednesday, TASS reports.

"China and Russia will work together to promote genuine multilateral relations in the world, facilitate the formation of multipolar mechanisms and the democratization of international ties," he said at a briefing.

The Chinese diplomat recalled that China and Russia are permanent members of the UN Security Council, strengthening cooperation that is not directed against other countries. He also noted that Beijing and Moscow are stepping up their partnership.
