The Newly Appointed Ambassadorof the Philippines Handed Over a Copy of His Credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia
Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines Igor Bailen (with residence in Moscow) on the occasion of handing over a copy of credentials.
The Deputy Minister congratulated Ambassador Bailen on his assumption of office, considering the appointment of a new Ambassador on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as a symbolic step, which will give a new impetus to the friendly Armenian-Philippine relations.
Both sides expressed their willingness to spare no effort to fully explore the existing potential in the spheres of mutual interests, in particular political dialogue, the expansion of the legal basis, the development trade and economic ties, tourism and high technologies.
Deputy Minister Safaryan and Ambassador Bailen also emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation within multilateral platforms.
