Peskov: Russian peacekeepers are doing everything to maintain order and peace

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh are doing everything possible to maintain order and peace by acting in accordance with the spirit and letter of the agreements.

While Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan claimed that the Russian peacekeepers did not fulfill their obligations regarding the control of the Lachin corridor, this statement was made despite the efforts of the Russian side to remove the corridor.

“Russian peacekeepers are doing everything they can to maintain order and peace in the lands they serve. And they act exclusively in accordance with the spirit and letter of the relevant documents signed between the countries. We, of course, together with our Armenian colleagues. “Our allies will continue to discuss this issue,” Peskov said.
