Apple’s iPad Sales Falling

2013 was the best year for iPad, as since last year the sale have been falling. Some market analysts called that iPad is the weakest in the market. They expect 2015 iPad sales to fall to 60.1 million units, which is 5% down from 2014.

Apple is forecast to command just under 26% of the tablet market this year, down from 29% a year earlier. Tablets have become less popular, because the user prefers to have a six-inch iPhone 6 Plus instead of eight-inch iPad Mini. There is other side of competition in the market – many tablet makers are slashing prices and adding voice calling features to make the product more attractive for customer. There is an estimation that it will help overall tablet sales to grow by 2% during this year, CNN reports.
