Volvo Opens Car Factory in US

Volvo is going to open new factory in the US. Volvo is owned by China, it sold nearly half a million cars in 100 countries in 2014, the increase compared with 2013 was 8.9%. The largest consuming markets were China and Europe, CNN reports.

On the other hand in the US the sell has fallen down by 8%. According to the data last year it sold only 56,000 cars in the US market, which is less than the half of the volume sold in the US compared a decade ago.

Volvo announced that it wants to sell more than 100,000 cars a year in the US market.
