The US Supports the Arab Countries in Their Initiative
The US supports the plans of the Arab countries to form joined military forces for confronting the challenges in the Middle East. As RIA Novosti reports, this was declared by the US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter.
"If they want to do more in that direction, in this case conditioned by the situation in Yemen, then it is good, because it is their region," – Carter said. In an answer to the question about the US possible cooperation on this issue, Carter mentioned that many countries already have bilateral agreements with the US. "They are our partners in promotion of security and we will continue cooperation with them," – Carter stressed.
