Amnesty in Tailand on the Occasion of Princess Birthday Anniversary
Almost 35,000 prisoners throughout Tailand will be granted amnesty on the occasion of the 60th birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on April 2.
Condemned prisoners will be spared the death sentence and to serve life imprisonment, life imprisonment prisoners will have their terms commuted to 50 years and their remaining terms will be reduced according to their behavior, EnglishNews reports.
