In Genocide Commemoration Events Switzerland will be Present at the Ambassadorial Level
On April 24 at the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide Switzerland will be present at the ambassadorial level. This is stated in the official webpage of Swiss Government. Thus Lukas Gasser, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Armenia will be present at the events organized in Yerevan.
According to the press release, the Swiss Federal Council on several occasions has condemned the events of 1915 that led to the death of many Armenians. Switzerland will also continue to work towards reconciliation between Turkey and Armenia.
