Poland Thanks Russia
A spokesman for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked Russia for assistance in the evacuation of the country’s nationals from Yemen, Sputnik News reports.
"The Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its gratitude to the Russian Federation for evacuation of 20 people, carried out by air from Sanaa to Moscow," Marcin Wojciechowski said.
On Friday night, Russia evacuated 311 people, among which 152 Russians and also citizens of Poland, Ukraine and Belarus on two passenger jets from Sanaa (Yemeni capital) to Moscow.
In addition Russia’s Foreign Ministry reports that the evacuation will also continue on Saturday as over 70 additional Russian citizens have asked to leave Yemen.
