Warlick: the date of the Meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan Not Decided Yet
The date of the meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan is not decided yet, OSCE Minsk Group co-chair James Warlick said in an interview to the Voice of America, Panorama.am reports. "The date of the meeting of the two Presidents is not decided yet, but both of them expressed their willingness to activate the process of the dialogue. Now we are looking for an opportunity to organize such a dialogue," – Warlick said.
According to Warlick the co-chairs will soon visit the region for organizing the meeting of the Presidents. "I believe that both Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev want to find a solution to the conflict through negotiations. It is quite a long time the conflict continues and it has taken lots of people’s lives. We want to put an end to all these," – Warlick said.
He also added that in their planned visit to the region the mediators may have meetings also with the de-facto authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
