The EU to Give €60 Million to Georgia
State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, David Bakradze and Gerhard Schumann-Hitzler, Director for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission on May 14 signed two financing agreements according to which the EU undertakes to provide aid to Georgia, newsday.ge reports. In total €60 million will be allocated for the Government Administration of Georgia.
As the source informs, the Agreements foresee €50 million in support of the judiciary sector and €10 million in support of the Human Rights programs within the framework of the EU initiative -"More for more".
