"Kochari" Can be Included in UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage List
The "Kochari" dance is possible to be included in the UNESCO representative list of intangible cultural heritage. The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Armenia Hasmik Poghosyan stated this in a talk with the reporters. "The inclusion of the Armenian bread (Lavash) in the UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage protection list was not only an achievement, but a victory. This year, we try to include the national "Kochari" dance in UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage protection list, for which an application has been prepared and sent to the UNESCO office. We are waiting for the discussions," as “Armenpress” reports, Hasmik Poghosyan highlighted.
