This week in Europe
Below we would like to draw your attention to the upcoming events in Europe that directly concern or present a particular interest for Armenia. Special attention is paid to international organizations and the scheduled meetings and events in the framework of their activities.
On May 25, the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker met with UK Prime Minister David Cameron. The next day, on May 26, he received José Manuel Barroso, the former President of the European Commission.
On May 27, Palestinian Donors Conference will take place in Brussels with the participation of EU High Representative Federica Mogherini. .
European Parliament plenary session will be held on May 27. Address by Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon is scheduled. Preparation of the G7 Summit (7-8 June) is also on the agenda.
On May 28, the Second Southern Neighborhood Civil Society Forum will take place in Brussels. Federica Mogherini and Johannes Hahn are to take part in the event.
The same day EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn delivers a speech on the Eastern Partnership at Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Brussels.
