Lyova Mnatsakanyan Appointed as the Defense Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic
Former Deputy Chief of Armenia’s General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Lyova Mnatsakanyan has confirmed the disseminated information about his appointment as the Defense Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, NEWS.am reports.
According to the source, Lyova Mnatsakanyan has mentioned that he will be in NKR on Wendseday and as soon as he is officially appointed, he will move there together with his family.
"We are military personnel; we shall serve wherever they order. We are fulfilling our duty," Mnatsakanyan said.
Earlier, the RA President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree, appointing NKR DA Commander and Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan, as the Deputy Chief of Armenia’s General Staff of the Armed Forces.
