Iran Canceled Visa Requirements for the Citizens of Seven Countries
Iran canceled the visa requirements for the citizens of seven countries to stimulate tourism in the country, TASS reports referring to Kayhan newspaper.
"From now on tourists from Turkey, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bolivia, Egypt and Syria can travel to Iran without visa," the newspaper said.
"In accordance with the new rules of the visa regime, the citizens of these countries may stay in Iran without a visa from 15 to 90 days", the source says. Under the state program of tourism development Iranian authorities are also examining the possibility of introducing a visa-free regime for citizens of another 60 countries.
